Doweled Drawer Specs
Top Drawer offers a dowel construction drawer in addition to its dovetail line. Doweled drawers are a cost effective alternative to dovetails that still provide a strong joint a quality feel. These drawers are also more economical as they can be produced with less expensive materials and in a quicker time frame than dovetailed boxes. Doweled drawers are most often used in commercial applications such as offices and schools. Please contact your TDC sales rep for more information or request a quote online.
Doweled Drawer Materials
Dowelled drawers can be constructed out of any of the materials that are available for our dovetail drawers however it also opens up a few more options for choices especially in the interest of saving money. The most common of which is PB (Particle Board) this material is covered in a thermofused color of your choice. Standard colors are:
- White
- Almond
- Black
- Maple Print
- Grey
Bullnose
As a standard profile Top Drawer will use a 1/16 bullnose on our plywood products, which is sanded and then covered with a heat transfer foil.
